Program Description:
The Accounting Diploma in the Department of Administrative Technology was designed in line with the needs of the local labor market for the specialization. Training for this specialization is conducted in technical colleges, in five semesters of training, each semester lasting eighteen training weeks, for a total of (1900) training hours, in addition to (490) hours of practical training in the labor market, equivalent to (76) credit hours.
This program provides training on specialized skills in keeping corporate accounts in administrative technology, in addition to specialized units in the field of accounting, such as those related to keeping accounts of commercial and industrial institutions and companies, as well as governmental and non-profit units and institutions, calculating and collecting zakat and taxes. The program also addresses aspects related to cost accounts in various establishments and warehouse systems, such as inventory and custody, and the use of modern technologies in this regard. In addition to general skills in Islamic culture, Arabic language, English language, mathematics, computer applications, and learning about the business world or (career guidance, excellence, job behavior and communication skills courses).
The graduate of this program is awarded an intermediate university degree in accounting from the Department of Administrative Technology, and is expected to work in fields related to accounting as an assistant accountant, bookkeeper, cashier, cashier, warehouse keeper, custodian, zakat and tax officer, and assistant auditor.
