The Cyber Security Diploma is designed to meet the needs of the local labor market within the framework of Cyber Education from the National Cyber Security Authority. This specialization is trained in four semesters, each semester lasting sixteen training weeks, for a total of (1856) training hours, in addition to (360) hours of practical training in the labor market, for no more than 85 credit hours.
This program provides training in specialized skills in computers, information technology, and operating systems.

(2) Algorithms and Logic, Basics of Computer Programming, Basics of Cryptography, Principles of Computer Networks, Python Programming, Introduction to Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Cybercrime, Cloud Computing, Information Security Management, Routing and Transformation, Ethical Hacking, Introduction to Network Security. The focus during training is on the practical application aspect and linking it to the theoretical aspect in most of the specialized courses by intensifying basic practical training and applying the cooperative training program with sectors related to the trainee’s specialization in addition to (general skills in English, mathematics, statistics, and computer applications).
The graduate of this program is awarded a diploma in "Cybersecurity" equivalent to an intermediate university degree. This program is also compatible with the framework (Swords - National Cybersecurity Authority), as the main objective of this framework is to provide a reference guide for preparing, developing, attracting and managing cybersecurity cadres. This framework provides a reference for improving communication and developing content in cadre qualification and management activities. This program provides opportunities to work in fields related to computer science, cybersecurity, network security and infrastructure as an information security supervisor, as an assistant information security manager, cybersecurity trainer, cybersecurity officer, cloud computing specialist, cybersecurity risk specialist, systems security development specialist, cybersecurity data science specialist, cybersecurity specialist, cybersecurity analyst and other jobs related to various computer science and cybersecurity jobs.
The general objective of the program:
This program aims to build future competencies by preparing qualified graduates who have the ability to implement contemporary cybersecurity work and enable them to face challenges and keep pace with future sciences. The graduate obtains the fifth level of the National Professional Qualifications System.
